Georgia Pediatric Subspecialists
Georgia Pediatric Subspecialists, the state’s only independent physician alliance of pediatric subspecialists was established in 2007 to ensure the highest quality of care to children. Comprised of Georgia’s leading pediatric subspecialty practices, GPS is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to infants, children and teens.
Located in Atlanta with more than 130 physicians, GPS represents 8 pediatric subspecialties, which includes emergency medicine, gastroenterology, infectious disease, orthopedics and orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, radiology and imaging, and pediatric urology. Referrals to GPS practices can be made by a patient’s primary care physician or other care provider.
Through ongoing collaboration about specific cases among members, diagnoses are confirmed by a well-rounded team of leading subspecialty physicians and appropriate treatment can begin immediately. In addition, through ongoing dialogue and coordination between member practices, patient outcomes are improved and lower costs are realized.
